Project Title: Installation of Cookstove at refugees reception centres in Westnile and Northern districts of Yumbe, Adjumani Lamwo

Project Overview:

This humanitarian initiative installed energy-efficient cookstoves in refugee reception centers to address health and environmental challenges. The stoves significantly reduced smoke inhalation risks for women and children while cooking in confined spaces.

By cutting firewood consumption by approximately 40%, the project also alleviated pressure on local forests. The installations came with training programs to ensure proper use and maintenance, creating lasting impact for displaced communities.
